i just crashed out on me bike...... shopping bag went in the front wheel when i tried to hop the curb outside me house

missus laughed at me

me and the bike app ear to be unhurt

missus stil laughing

Now you know why it’s much safer to put cargo into a basket or trailer. When I was commuting regularly, I used a trailer to take my hanging clothes to the office on Monday, then put them in a backpack for the trip home as I used them during the week.

A pannier-style basket on the back can carry a fairly large load. Personally, I don’t like fork-mounted baskets because they affect the steering and my ability to hop curbs.

My big wipeout was because of a  dog. That one sent me to the hospital with a broken hand and cracked ribs.

I once broke a collar bone that way. Computer in a ca rdboard box on the back, which I held with my right hand. Grocery store plastic back hanging on the steering bar . Which ended up in the front wheel . I went flying and a bone snapped. It wasn't fun.

ouch

first time i broke me collarbone it was coz my brake lever fell off.. went str aight into the front wheel cables still attached

it bent the fork

was a spectacular summersault tho

(second time i broke it i killed my bandit but somehow not myself)
